Elchies Virtual Tour

Virtual tour of Elchies Farm, Scotland. Designed to help people understand what to expect before they visit the farm, the tour is comprised of 360 degree photography, sound and videos. Hotspots along the path provide further information in the form of photographic slide shows, sound-recordings and farm animal videos. Information about farm access, farm shop, together with links to further information about farm production.

A virtual tour of a farmer cluster farm in North East Scotland has been developed by the Hutton team to understand on-farm biodiversity. Embedded in the tour is an eLearning quiz and resources to explore people’s understanding of biodiversity and farm management on a commercial mixed farm. Also the players understanding on related economic issues and acceptance of environmental schemes.

A virtual tour of farms in farmer cluster region of Velké Hostěrádky, Czechia has been developed by the Hutton team in collaboration with Czech Organics and CZU to understand on-farm biodiversity. Embedded in the tour is an eLearning quiz (in Czech) and resources to explore people’s understanding of biodiversity and farm management on commercial farms. Also the players understanding on related economic issues and acceptance of environmental schemes.

A virtual tour of farms in farmer cluster region of Mostviertel Austria has been developed by the Hutton team in collaboration with the  HBLFA to understand on-farm biodiversity. Embedded in the tour is an eLearning quiz (in German) and resources to explore people’s understanding of biodiversity and farm management on commercial farms. Also the players understanding on related economic issues and acceptance of environmental schemes.

Cashel Forest Oak Path

A virtual tour of the Oak Path at Cashel Forest on the east side of Loch Lomond, Scotland. Designed to help people understand what to expect before they visit, the tour is comprised of 360 degree photography and time-lapse video of the path. Hotspots along the path provide further information in the form of photographic slide shows, sound-recordings and wildlife videos. Information on parking, opening times and contents of the visitor centre is also included, together with links to further information. There is a link to a survey for providing feedback about the virtual tour.

Shetland Livestock Visit

This is a virtual tour to demonstrate the handling procedure for livestock being imported into Shetland. The virtual tour provides access to interactive footage and embedded resources to demonstrate the procedure currently in use on Shetland that helps to protect all livestock on the island by checking disease status of all animals arriving onto the island. The livestock are received directly from the ferries into the bespoke handling system, checked and dosed by vets before being collected by the importers.

COEVOLVERS - Virtual nature

A virtual nature digital tool has been developed for the COEVOLVERS LL, in Alford Scotland, to allow visitors to image the reality using 360-degree footage and embedded resources. The tool will allow people to view nature based solutions, either as a semi-or fully immersive experience, depending on the platform used to view the experience. Viewers can explore the interactive environment, accessing embedded resources to further the experience and gain additional knowledge
